the back looks lower than the front

I found that too, but i measured from the middle of the wheel wel to the ground and all of them are 62 inches from the ground., plus ithink its the rear bumper that makes it look lower too.

Thanks for the replies, keep em comming. :dsm:

Honestly, the back looks too low. When I see a car that looks like the back is lower, its always a bunch of ##### in the back. raise the back up like half an inch and it will look good.

Did you just use springs??? Depending on what kit you got, it might be to low. I've had lowering springs sitting in my garage for about 2 years now because I was afraid to put them in after the kit was on and I saw how low it was.

It looks alright but a little too low IMO. If it was about 1 inch higher in the rear and 1/2 inch higher in the front it would look great.

I think if you put a kit on there , you're going to want to raise it a bit.

i had a kitted 1g with 3" coilovers lowered all way and never broke anything.

although i turned the rear coild up alittle so the car sat more normal then the look yours has, lift the back just alittle

I don't like the look at all, and neither will you the first time you smack a manhole cover that's sticking up a little bit and f#$% up your exhaust and driveline.

Well, the rear will come up abit, i found out that the rear sits higher when its stock. And i lowered them to the same hight from the ground. So that explains the rear being lower, but the car sits level now. Only thing is my camber is way of and thats the only way the rear fit it looks / \ from the rear, the front sits pretty straight though.

And yeah i have finally bottomed out, twice in one day. Damn 3" piping sits so low to the ground.

And holly did it ever get slower. Atleast its going to 2" from stock, when my agx's, and new springs come in.

what did you lower that with? sorry, but it looks terrbile, the rear looks like it sagging and the front looks pointed towards the sky. you might want to change your suspension before you go and kit it up. my car is slammed with a kit, but it sits straight. if your car doesnt sit straight with the ground and the car is slammed, it is highly noticable. get the thing leveled out and it will look fine.

Remember, if your roll center is off from your center of gravity, you decrease performance. When you get a chance, fix the gap under the headlight, put the trim piece back on the fender and get some update pics. A rear adjustable camber correction kit should be your next suspension mod.

I've got a 2inch drop on a very low kit on my 95 GST, and I love how well it handles but I hate the terrible stress of having to avoid 95% of the speed bumps I encounter, have to scope out everywhere I go before I pull in, angling in everywhere while soccer moms honk behind you not realizing nor caring you have $60,000 worth of shit into your ride and your not gonna wreck it for her fat ass, etc. I would suggest keeping all of these things in mind before you throw the kit on, or you'll regret it. I've babied my car and I've smacked the kit more times than I can remember. If you choose to keep it low and with a kit, you better start practicing fiberglassing and painting because you'll be doing it alot for a street driven car. :dsm:

Tunerkid- used some cheap coil-overs, the car actually measures out to 62" from the ground to the center of the wheel well's. Its not staying this low i just dropped it till the track opens, and my REAL suspension comes in, and gets installed. Its only gonna be a 2" drop from factory.

Injected- The car had a full kit till someone decided it would look better on there car.
So i have parts on there from my parts car, the reason there is such a gap in the front bumper, cause it just hangs of my front mount, theres no room for the damn rebar (#### that front mount is huge), and when the new kit comes in it will have mounts custom made to hold it up proper. Again sorry i didn't mention this in my first post but its getting a replacment kit, and only gonna have a 2"drop from factory, on good springs, shocks, and camberkit. And about the effecting my performance, believe me my car feels way slower, but i don trace on the street or bag, only on the track witch is not open for another month, so i thought i'd have some fun in the meantime.

Noc7- I cant believe you didn't recognize my car, i'm the one that told you how bad you need a camber kit, and then helped you get one. Think to my old job. You know me.

For all that care its not all show. It ran 13.3 on pump gas (91 octane, all we get here in edmonton without ethonel) last year, and i'm aiming for mid 12's on pump this summer. Maybe low 12's with some real gas.

Thanks for the comments guys. :thumb:
