I really dont think the STOCK exhaust size is 2.5". If that were the case why would anybody bother UPGRADING to a 2.5" exhaust?

First of all they said 2.25" not 2.5". And if it was 2.5" a reason to upgrade would be mandrel bent, stainless steel, looks, sound.
