Check out the sig!
The bad part is that they WILL burn out on you in about a year. On my protege I replaced them about every year. I expect when this GST turns 1 year old I'll be replacing the bulbs again.
I think when I replace my silverstars again (which I will when they die out), I'll be buying 9005 silverstars and do the 9005 mod

I was just reading through and noticed you guys were talking about the 9005 mod. I did this on my 94 Accord when I had that and it worked beautifully. Just recently I went out and bought some OEM GE replacement bulbs for my eclipse and I did the mod and I just looked at the bulbs tonight and I looked inside and the shit in there was melting. So I said screw it. I put my 9006 Silverstars back in and I'm just leaving those in there right now. I don't know how many other people have had success with the 9005 mod but I wouldn't really recommend it because it will melt the inside of the bulb.sway2this said:how exactly is the 9005 mod done?
