headlight bulbs

Well since i got the car the headlight bulbs have been stock, plus when i bought the car the high beam lights werent working so i figured that they are burned out ( and lets just hope so). anyways i bought the sylvania silverstar set for bothe low and high 9005, 9006. i am about to put them on but i wanted to know is there somthing i should watch out for when installing them, or its as easy as 1 2 3. (and yes i know not to touch the bulb), but never had to change them in the talon so any suggestion would help. thanx guys

It's as easy as 1 2 3. just dont touch the bulb, or drop it.

do you guys think my high beams are really burned out? if not is there any other things i should check for beside the fuses and relay. see the problem is that when i switch to high beam the green indicator on the dash turns on but my lights dont change. is there a relay for the high beam or just one for both bulbs?

check under the dash for the fuse for the high beam. If it all good, then check the wirings to the lights. Might have burned, or cut wires.

Are your headlights OEM or aftermarket? I know that on some aftermarket headlights (like the ones I have) they don't come with a wiring harness and must be hard wired into your factory wiring. Doing this isn't as easy as hooking up the blue wire to the blue wire and so on. It's very easy to hook the headlights up so that the low beams work, but the high beams do not (I know because that's how mine are, and I've been too lazy to re-wire them).

yeah i got stock OEM headlights im not sure yet what the deal is but im gona check the fuses for sure though
