side marker questions

i did some searching and am confused. Are the side markers supposed to light up? neither one of mine do. Also i was thinking of buying some of the clear ones from ebay. Can someone point me to or give me a HOW-TO on installing them. BTW its a 97 GS thanks for any help.

Yes they do. Bulbs probably burnt out.

You can pop them out from behind or very carefully prying at them with a screwdriver, very easy to do.
