shuddering when engaging clutch in 1st gear only

recently, i have been noticing some shuddering when starting from a stop as the clutch begins to grab, but it only does it in first gear - it acts like im not giving it enough gas and stalling it (which i am not, im giving plenty of gas). anyone have any ideas?

ahh, well it's time for a new clutch anyway - so it's just the clutch i need to replace, right?

uhh i have a new clutch.... act 2100 so that cant be it.

ahh crap. nuggets - how much does it shake? mine acts like im trying to stall it, and it's kinda like the front wheels are slipping although they really aren't. however, if i do give it lots of gas and let out the clutch real real slow, it seems to behave normally.

uhh i have a new clutch.... act 2100 so that cant be it.

That don't mean anything.. ! I am on my second 2100 that chatters on take off. ..the first 1 got warrenty cause it was crap...chattered like crazy....The second one did for a while and now with 500k on it, is doin much better...just about perfect.. ..so just because your clutch is new dont mean it is good....

it doesnt do it that much, but once in a while it does. i was wondering if my clutch was like.. gone already. but i dont have the warrenty info. maybe i can get a replacement with some talking :-/

hey well i was thinking, if it's not the cluth or something related, do you think it could be the motor mounts maybe? cuz mine seems to be a vibration of the engine/transmission itself.
