Should this relay be here?

Hi folks. So I was outside tinkering with the elipse and checking the fluids...decided to start it up and let it run for a bit since I do not drive it everyday. Had the hood opened and realized after a while of running, only 1 radiator fan came on. Waited a while and again..only the drivers side fan came on. Engine isnt over heating or really getting too hot at all but I did notice this when I popped the cover off the fuse panel.

Should there be a relay where the cover says Radiator fan Hi? Might be a dumb question but before I cram one in there just to see what happens...is it needed? Thanks

Check to see how many wires there are for your rad fan connector. A 2 wire connector has only one speed, a 4 wire will have two speeds (high and low).

If you have a 2 wire and the bigger fan is turning on (small one is for a/c) all is good. If you have a 4 wire the other relays should be installed.

Turn the A/C on and make sure the A/C button is pressed. The other fan should come on.

Also, check the condenser fan fuse if it doesn't come on at all.
