Food for thought
If you're the type of who like helping out locals example spending money at local shop due to economy hardtime.
Do a search on your local area craigslist, I know what you all are about to say but hear me out.
When you're on craigslist for your state and city scroll down to SERVICES and click on AUTOMOTIVE. In the search bar type the word WELDER.
There will be a huge list of experienced mig/tig welders with 3-5yrs or more. Who are experienced and do side jobs to make extra money.
FInd one close to you, he'll have his prices posted on the ad with his information.
This wouldn't hurt and beats taking a car to a body shop having them charge you hundreds or thousands.
There was guy here who did this to his silver gsx, had strut tower repaired came out great.
I've found someone in my who charge 20-25 hr for alluminum mig/tig welding. Planning to have my lower radiator support done before this winter
