Should I replace valve guides?

I needed new valves for my 98 Gst. So I recently bought SI Valves, Bronze Valve Guides, Valve Keepers, and 3g Lifters from a member on here. I have 1 of the valves out now but can't seem to get the valve guide out. Would it be ok to leave those in and reuse them with the new valves? I was just going to replace them with the bronze but if I can reuse them I will.

If they are not cracked I don't see why you couldn't stay with the steel guides. Pull all the valves out and check for cracks. If they are cracked you might want to take them to a machine shop as the guides are pressed in and should be installed/ removed by someone who knows what there doing.

You should have a machine shop check them for out-of-round. Guides will wear in an oval shape and can leak oil if they are bad enough. Replacing them is not something you can do yourself without special tools as they are pressed in. Now is the time to do it while it is apart.

nice, so if the machine shop told me that they were good and that there was really no reason to replace them but i still kind of want to but not sure if it really matters
