Should I just get it all done now or wait?

My car needs new front axles, rotors, and control arm bushings. On top of this, my tranny is starting the chirping like a bird when it goes under 1K which from what I read is my tranny's way of saying I'm going to die. Should I just do the work I desparately need or should I just go all out and get a Shep rebuilt tranny while I have everything apart. I know I can do the other stuff on my own, but I've never done a tranny replacement. Is this something I can do myself or should I just get a shop to put it together for me?

pulling axles, droppinga tranny etc etc... are a weekends work at most, if you have never done it before and have a basic knowledge in what youredoing.... if you have to follow the book every step do so.... but I think you will find once youre in there, you wont need the book as much... good luck....

My concern is that the nut on the end of my axles is in really bad shape. It's to the point where you can't even tell it's a nut. Can I use a nut cracker or an air chisel to break this baby off or should I just accept the fact that I'm not going to get the core return on my axles. Does anyone know of a place that has a good deal on performance axles?

Also for my rotors, I was thinking of going with the Brembo aftermarket replacements. Are these worth it or should I go with power slots since my rear brakes are not that great and my fronts do more stopping than they should?
