Should I have boost leak here?

Just finished several boost leak tests. Fixed leaks at the TB gasket, biss screw, bov adjusting screw, and j pipe weld. But it will not hold the 15psi I am testing at. Takes about 5 seconds to lose pressure. I noticed that all the air is escaping from the recirc. tube that connects my bov to the intake pipe ( disconnected from intake pipe). I have the dejon greddy knockoff. Is this supposed to happen? Or could I possibly have the bov to soft? While driving the car holds boost fine and does not surge even at 1psi. I did bypass mbc while testing. Any help is appreciated!

Not sure if I read this right or not, but here goes: make sure the recirculation tube is attached at both ends (BOV and intake) with radiator claps and that should hold the pressure. I do my leak test off of the turbo inlet and just cover up the bleeder hole on my MBC, hope that helps .

No the BOV should not leak. Tigthen it down until it doesn't leak.

Thanks for the help, that is what I was counting on. So it is not a bov problem?

Yes your settings are too soft on the BOV for whatever psi you are trying to run. I haven't ever used the knockoff versions so I dunno how well they old up.
