short throw options

Hey we were looking at a short throw shifter for a 1g talon. What are the main options? Also which one would you guys reccomend.

Well I went the way of buying one off of ebay for like 30$. It works wonderful and the shift points are alot closer! Now I have a 90 so this is just my experience. There is quite a bit of shaving it down to fit and a little mod work to actually get it to fit right and work. However for 30$ and it was one of the only ones I found it was a great buy for myself.

I got a Fidanza short throw shifter for $66 brand new. It bolted up and works fine, but I never noticed too much of a difference.

you could either get said fidanza short throw or many people often cut their own see thread here

What I did when I had my old 1g is I bought ine from JNZ....Basically it sits lower in the pocket and majorly reduces shift throws....I had to relearn how to shift with this shifter...I bought the shortened lever for my old 91....Excellent shifter...

I was reading about the fidanza shifter and it said there was no stops on it. Have they changed that now? Might look into a ebay one.

dogboxracing.com, the best mod i ever did was there short throw shifter, they weld stops on it also and it makes shifting a dsm so crisp, feels like my old mustang. its such better feel when you shift against the stops they put in, so much better then the wobble that used to be there

I went to their site but there is nothing about a shifter. Is that something you had done locally? Mine wobbles a lot.
