Shifty Ebay deal?

I'm pretty new to the DSM world. I will possibly get a GSX (or a spyder, still havnt decided) within the next month. That said, I was browsing ebaymotors.com this evening and happened across this deal:
99 Eclipse with lotsa mods
$5200 for a 99 Eclipse with all those mods seem a little shifty to you guys?

This is the "out of country scam".

You will contact this person and he will tell you that he moved out of country with the car. He will say he can't registar it and needs to sell it fast. He is offering a killer deal and will include shipping or whatever. You send him the money, he saids you the car. He will even give you the shippers contact info and let you use a wiretransfer service. You will never see the car nor see him again. Don't ever bother with anything that is preaproved only. I can't tell you how many times I've spammed Ebay about getting rid of that stupid ass function.

Run a carfax and the car will not be in Illinios, it will most likely be located somewhere for sale on a dealer lot. I hand found a Supra on ebay a while again, N/A for 7,500 with 59k miles . Contacted the person, he said he was in the Army and transfered to Germany. He couldn't reg the car there (lie) and needed to ship it back. Shipping was 750 and he would split it. I asked for more images of the car, current ones. He sent a ton. Funny thing was, the background. Across the road was a busted down shed with a rusted Olds 440 and in another angle was a stop sign... a US stop sign. Yeah. I then ran a car fax, said the car was for sale in Texas, dealer inventory. Knowing it was a scam I tried the other scam trick...

I explained that I was a realistate agent and one of my clients was a Dutchmen who purchased some land in the US. He owned me a $9,700 commision check. However, becaues of conversion costs and taxes asociated I would have him send the check to the car seller, and then the seller could just send me back 1,500 and keep the difference.

Seller simply responded. "Takes one to know one".

its not a real auction it is one of those PRE APROVED buyers auctions basically you cant bid or buy it . i sont no why they put those on there you cant buy them its retarted

In short.

If its overseas its a scam.
If its "approved bidders only" its a scam
If its too good to be true its a scam
and if its send me the difference its a scam.

Report it to ebay as fraud, because that is what it is.

What the seller wants to do is sell it to you out of ebay so ebay is none the wiser. You send him the money, and he sends.. wait thats the last you hear from him. You complain to ebay and they say tough luck, isnt our problem, wasn't an ebay auction. Also that ebay id is also most likely stolen. This is why I can't understand why ebay won't remove that function, its retarded and only hurts ebay users. :thumbdown

eBay flat out sucks, every thing from their sellers to their anti-gun policies. Tard-cakes.
