its gitting harder to shift into third what might it be a bad clutch ?

Yeah you can assure it is cause of a bad clutch..just read my post of what happened to me today..my 4th gear was getting really hard and it shifted in 2nd gear when i was trying to shift into 4th, and the result..well you can read my post titled "Urgent Help..car wont start, broken tranny or Engine"...unfortunately no one has replied to it yet and im just here having to go through this BS not knowign what happened.

I have the same car with the same problem. No I doubt seriously it's your clutch. All DSM's have shifter problems with age. I bought a shifter kit to help but haven't put it in yet. For the shifter problems/solutions see: http://www.vfaq.com/index-main.html (Shifter)
