shakey steering wheel

when i got this car a few months ago it came eqquiped with a steering wheel that shakes violently at 50+mph. in my effort to fix it i have replaced the ball joints. tie rod ends, brakes, hub spacersand lugnuts(to fit the aftermarket wheels better), and i got a four wheel alignment and the wheels balanced. the wheel has calmed down a lot but it still shakes at 60+. what should i look for? how can i tell if the steering rack needs to be replaced? any help is appreciated!

Check the main nut holding the steering wheel to the rack. My wheel vibrated violently on the freeway until I got out the loctite and torqued that fu(ker back down.

i just looked unnder te hood and that bolt looks impossible to get at. did you attack from the top or from the bottom?

May want to check your tie rod ends also.

the tie rod ends are new

You said that the tie rod ends are new but have you checked the inner tie rods for wear. If they are worn out, they will be floppy and possibly have some in and out play
