Im currently using the 2.47" disk on my SFMU. I have 440 cc injectors and a manual boost controller set at 18psi. My problem is I have completely untightened the adjustor bolt on the top of the SFMU to the point where I am running only around 15psi or so at idle and still I am running rich. I know it isn't good to run low fuel pressure. Do I dare use the 2.22" disk? I can't imagine that I would be using that small of one with only 440 cc injectors. Any advice?

Two things:
1.) Are you running rich throughout the whole RPM range?

2.) How do you know you're running rich? Are you using a wideband and EGT gauge, or a "blinky light" gauge?

I dont have wideband  ( I know I know ). Im just using the cheap a/f gauges but it is buried on the rich side on WOT througout my entire boost. Also my car throws a cel saying that the system is running too rich.

I'd be extremely reluctant to screw with the A/F ratio without the proper measuring instruments; especially while running such high boost as yourself.

Unfortunately, I think your ultimate problem lies within the S-FMU. They're definitely a step up from the FMUs, but they too can only handle so much. For boost like 18 psi, you may need to look into some sort of a stand alone or supplementary management system (MS, Portfueler, etc.).
