Seriously uncomfortable 2g leather seats?

So I have the leather seats in my 98 but they feel severly wrong when you sit in the drivers seat at least, almost have to shuffle back and forth to try and find a place that feels like its meant to be sat in.

Anyone else notice this?

What's my best option in the way of replacement seats? Black racing seats would probably be my best bet I would think, thoughts?

Also some input on why the seat might feel like its missing some padding would be helpful, the part you actually sit your ass on just feels all sorts of wrong compared to the 1g

1g and 2g seats are pretty different. it could be that the padding is really old and a 300lb guy owned the car before you. you could just have them re upholstered with new padding or get some evo 8/9 seats

Problem is legit evo seats are about 1500$, I was looking at them though as an option.

My other option is either megan racing seats or NRG makes an evo style, both run about 300$ a pair

the megans are very nice looking! though ive never sat in one... BUT i have owned a set of evo9 black suede/leather and had them in my old 95 gsx. now those were HELLA comfortable! and looked gorgeous to!

My stock 2g leather seats were extemley uncomfortable at first, I guess It just took a lot of getting used to setting way the hell back and fine adjustment of the seat.

Hmm they look to be in great shape. Did you try adjusting the lumbar?
