Security is always a issue in any city . I live close to Charlotte NC . I know it is not the worst city in the world as far as crime and jackings go but still . I cary at all times while on the job, and around the city a 9mm SW . As far as security goes I have a 5 sec delay kill switch . But as in one instance when someone aproched me and my girl one day in the city @ 1 am after a party I just let the 9mm do the talking they backed up quite quickly .

Well, while I'm a big fan of my CCW as well....

Not all (or many, now that I think of it) states have legal ways to carry a concealed.

So I say, definitely go w/ the flamethrower :D

btw, if you're going to carry a gun, at least get a gun that's worth carrying....I'm going to get a glock 36 sometime soon, but my para 1540 .40cal always results in a prompt shitting of anyone who has decied to cause problems ;)

If I'm going to point something at someone, I'd like to at least know it's going to stop them if I hit them, as opposed to having to hope to tag them several times w/ a 9.....there's no stopping power in a 9x19 at all.

Oh, and the Tac. Black Remington 870 w/ the shell rack is always a nice poop-enducer as well :p

I have wired in a remote control kill switch to the fuel pump on my laser (yes I got the remote unit from autozone). It does not interfer with the power from the rest of the vehicle. Shutting off my fuel pump via remote control still allows power to the brakes. It is not a kill switch for the battery, only for the fuel pump. I have been driving it for 2 years like this. However I do suggest placing an LED light with an inline resistor in your dash, just so you know when the light is on, so is your fuel pump (only if you do a rewire straight to your battery). Otherwise you can wire it in before the fuel pump relay allowing your car to only be started with the key in the on position and then turning on the remote before cranking. I would not suggest hauling down the road with the turbo spooling and shutting of your fuel pump as a joke. LEAN IS BAD, LEAN IS BAD!!

That's another reason I shaved my doors. and bought a hornet 554t w/ lcd pager and a 2 stage shock sensor so no one get's close to my car
