Bybass Keyless Entry security?

Ok I did some searching and its probably there but I couldnt think of how to word this and ended up not finding anything.

I wnat to be able to leave my key in the igniton, and use the remote to lock and unlock teh doors. I have a 95 GSX, right now if I leave my key in the ignition it will not let me lock the doors at all for 1, and even if i trick it (take the key out, lock the doors,put the key back in) then the remote doesnt work form the outside . I know there has to be a way to get around this

It's a safety feature.

Disconect the door switches and you will easily be able to lock your keys in the car.

Better yet, buy an aftermarket alarm.

Ya he is right. You would spend more with problems than anything. Your bets bet is to get into a good alarm, and when it is installed they will disable the factory keyless entry

DOH! guess i shouldve looked into it more before paying mitsu the money to order me the remote and then pay them there rape fee to program it. So if I get an aftermarket one will I be able to leave the car running with the doors locked? ATM i cant evne lock the doors with the car running if I get out they unlock

yeah if you do remote start. For like $350 insatlled you can do remote start alarm with prox sensor ect. Another $75 and you can step up to a 2-way remote

ok so it sucks, but is it possible, All i want is to be able to lock my doors with the car running(and key in ignition), any suggestions ?

I think it might work to disconnect the wire to the key sensor switch:
