this sucks... the air force is taking me away again for 4 MORE months because they f***ed up my orders... :notgood: so yeah, i'll be leaving town again on september 5th and ill be gone until december 14th... so if a meet is going to happen with me there it can be any weekend up til then... i love the military but sometimes i think the higher-ups just have their heads in their asses! ROFL

I agree sony the army sucks just as much. i think we should go more for the weekend of the 10th. That should work since no one lese is puttin in there 2cents.

Hey yea im cool with any date but school starts the 8th and so ill be work weekends so basicly any weekend befor the 8th of sept. im cool with....Just a 1g 1.8 tho it was 300 bucks and looks like a 1800 doller car :)

Ok the weekend is Sept 17. I was gonna make it the 10th but i just now found out i have to go to my cousins wedding. So its gonna be Saturday Sept 17. Wheres a good location and what do you guys want to do.

WEll ther is this place called Axiom motorsports in lakewood that has a nice parking lot, and the shop owner is pretty cool about having meets and stuff, and if anyone wants a dyno I'm sure he could set it up as well. WE could do a bbq over there as well.
But they have a parking lot where no other business are open on the weekend and so we'd have the parking lot to ourselves and their customers.

Its really close to Tacoma mall, and its right off of exit 127.
S. Tacoma Way and Stelicome blvd.

From what I understand the MSHR is sept. 17th, might as well just go to that.

So its like Hood River but the other way. Definately need more info on this, if it starts farther south, we should have like a lil gathering close by a hwy on ramp to catch everyone as they go up, Not sure what route it is, but if its along I-5 I can think Of two good places that are far enough south but not to far for people to drive down and back up.

Lacey Cinemas (martin way exit 109)

S. Tacoma Way Shucks (S. Tacoma way exit 127)

Both have big enough parking lots and are close to the hwy.

ok LOL i think we need to make a change then. Since the run is that weekend and all of that. Plus my girlfriend just dropped me on this. Supposable there is a car show in seattle that weekend as well and she says i "HAVE" to go with her. LOL. Maybe we should push it back so it doesnt enter fear with the run. I really need your guys feed back on this. I have a feeling that if we dont start pullin this stuff up its gonna fall through. So we need to start gettin this stuff set solid.

agreed, Global import carshow (by Kube 93) is on the 17th, and I'm down to meet up before the show and after the run, but whatever's clever if we push it back as well.

don't go to global... waste of time and money.

Meeting up around Seattle area would be excellent, marymoor park especially (I live about 10 minutes away).

Anything after the 9th of september is cool.

Hey me and my girlfriend broke up now so any weekend is good now as long as i dont have duty. Umm whats a good weekend for everyone. We are back to square one people.

OK obviously you guys missed the thread above. www.posdsm.com One of the biggest DSM meets, MSHR is on the 17th. Look at the thread above and figure out for yourself if you want to go. I GUARANTEE you the most fun you will have in your DSM besides another annual run. POS is a local (WA, OR, ID) DSM forum.

We're sure not getting very far on this meet, still no location or date yet. Come on guys lets get this thing together, I would really like to attend.

Aight peoples. since we've obviously kind of died out, I'm just gonna set this date with a poll to see who can make it or not.

SATURDAY
SEPTEMBER 10TH 2005
12PM-2PM (depending on crowd, if its big enough I'll be there longer)

WHERE: Axiom motorsports, Take I-5 north or south to exit 127 S. Tacoma way (Hwy 512 exit), Head South on S. Tacoma way, pass the peirce bus station on left hand side, turn left on to stelicome blvd. (jack in the box is on that corner), pass the lesshwab tire center and its on your right hand side. If you go over train tracks then you've gone to far.

The owner of the shop is pretty cool about letting people hang out there, and since its the weekend the parking lot will be mostly empty since everything else is closed.

P.S. If you'd like a dyno run, its like $60 for 3 runs, but he'd probably do a disscount if your with this meet.
