Sealing product for fuel rail??

AN fittings by themselves are designed not to require any type of sealant. The sealing surface is due to the design, the male tapered surface and the female's concave surface.
Liquid teflon works best, but it is used primarily to prevent galling and to allow for easier assembly and disassembly, not as a seal as popularly thought. But only apply it to the upper threads to prevent any getting into your fuel system which could contribute to clogging your injectors. That's what I suggest and use.

I got the same fitting myself becuase I am starting to install my AFPR and you really dont need anything else to seal it because the fitting already has that little o-ring which is pretty much a built in seal. Also if you look at the stock FPR it has the same type of o-ring seal on it and that doesnt have any type of sealent on it.

Are you sure the o-ring seals good enough?? The last thing I would want to do it to have to take it all back off and fix a leak. I just wanted to put something on there to seal it, "just in case". (Knock on wood) I guess I just dont trust that little o-ring 100%...... :dsm:

well I still havent driven the car but when I took off the stock fpr it didnt have any type of sealant. But I guess if you want for just in case it shouldnt be a problem.
