scattershield, buschur intake pipe, and rad hose

I recently installed a three speed scattershield and now I am trying to reinstall my intake pipe the vpc one that puts the filter in the fenderwell. However I can not get them all to fit because nowthe radiator hose is being pinched between the two. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how were you able to fix it. Intake pipes as large as 4.5" will work with the shield.

try to invert the lower radiator hose...the side on the radiator put it on the steel pipe ...and vice versa, and it will fit
