knows i don't understand... i didn't buy the car because it had a 6 bolt swap done... i bought it because it was one of the only unmolested 2g AWDs in my area. (unmolested appearance wise) but if i could go back, i would wait until something else had popped up.
 
Should know the 6 bolt still fu(ked up catastrophically. Which is something else to mention to noobs wanting to 6 bolt swap for no reason. :D
 
ah, yeah thats true. only thing i can say about that, is i believe no amount of checking, or knowledge could have told me that the motor was going to do that 1k miles after i bought it.
 
Is correct there was no way to know that. But knows now that 6 bolts aren't worth their weight in gold, and aren't superior to 7 bolts.
 
knows i already knew that... especially when a 7 bolt has been built properly. not sure how much of a difference it actually makes. but i have read, and heard from multiple people that using good bearings (ex. acl race) and doing a BSE drastically drops the chances of CW
 
Doesnt know that less than 2% of 7 bolts actually experienced CW. It was just blown out of proportion. Everyone blames every little thing on 2Ga's on CW when it isnt.

knows i also knew it was a low percentage. and a lot of people sell their 2ga DSMs whenever something goes wrong because thats what they think it is...
 
Should knowo my mod list is not out of date. Most of that $10k was spent on the rebuild, restoring it, and what few mods I do have. That also includes parts taken from my old car, and the car itself.
