San Jose area meet for April

Just checked for the weather on Saturday, it supposed to be partly cloudy . Hopefully it doesn't rain, it just occured to me since last night was rainy and all. I hope everybody can make it.

i might be a little late. but i will try to be there for sure. im gonna be in SF for some of the day. its gonna be a big day of driving but its ok. what time to ppl think there staying till?

Some guys are having a problem coming late, and it's only Monday, does anyone have any problem moving the meet to a later time? I don't know, 3:30 ~ 4:00 or something? It's just an idea. I would like everybody who wants to attend be able to meet everybody. I know time confliction is a part of why some people don't go, so let's try to remedy this situation now so more people can hang out. What do you guys think? I think I got the day off from work, so I'll be able to hang out however long people want to hang out. I already told this to my wife so she doesn't have any plans for that day.

If anybody doesn't have a problem with meeting a little later, can we move it? If anybody cares to go early, I'll be there early, we can hang out in Fantasia or something.

On another note, I've been trying to send PMs to most of the San Jose guys to see if they will attend. Who has no problem of going? I hope the turnout is good. Can't wait!

We are going to meet in Santana Row, the plan for the area to meet is the parking lot at the very end, near the movie theater. It might be busy, so maybe we should have a back up meeting spot. So maybe to keep it in the Santana Row area, I know the third floor of the parking structure (across Crate and Barrel, the Container Store, and Best Buy) is never full, even on the weekends. I don't know, maybe just a precaution.

Anyways, I think some people would be able to make it to the meet if it was later, like around 4~5 p.m. Unless other people disagree, let's move the meeting time to.. say... 4:30? I'm free to meet earlier so whoever wants to go early I'll be there, I plan on staying however long people stay. I think I'll be rolling with dsm408 and his buddy on Saturday.

If anyone has anything to say about the meeting time, please post so we know if we have to change it or anything.

So in a nutshell, I'm proposing, and this isn't written in stone or anything:

JWT that's a great idea! I can't beleive I didn't think about that. The third floor of the parking structure by best buy is perfect and it will give us good light for pics as well. Whatever time the meet ends up being I will show up at 2 and wait for some people if there are people then ill just kick it and all will be good if noone shows up I will come back at 4 seeing that I live a couple blocks down stevens creek so comming and going is no big deal for me. anyone that has a problem no comming till later or comming early just call me on my cell 650-773-0454

Depending on how much my car loves me after its recent engine swap, I might make it to this meet. My idle is rough and my compression reads 165, 160, 165, 130, so I'm running some tests and hopefully its an easy fix, swaping my turbo cause its leaking oil, and if all goes well i'll show up. I should know by thursday if i'm going or not...

I am stupid enough to not know where i'm going even with clear directions, but I'm going to try to make it to the meet from the eastbay...so if anyone see's a wandering teal car, please save me...haha.

Alright guys, it's Thursday, I hope nobody forgot about this meet. Hopefully the weather will be good, I checked earlier this week and it said Saturday is supposed to by only partly cloudy. It's kind of windy right now, but I'm not going to let that stop me. I think I will be picking someone up and driving with another guy and his buddy too, so at least there will be three of us(?) Zach, you said you will be going early, I'll call you. Thomas, you said you'd be going, give me a call when you are close. Who else is for sure going? It's at a later time now, so maybe more guys will be able to go.

So who wants to do what when we meet? It's almost Saturday!

So yeah i'll give you call if i still need that ride! Hope its gonna be a big turn out, looks like everybody else has plans but i guess we're gonna have to make the best of it right?

Oh yeah if anyones intrested in doing a bonfire thing somewhere along the coast hook me up with some ideas and let me know your intrested! THE MORE THE MARRIER! Its gonna start getting warm and the suns gonna stay out longer!

Also wednesday night meets every week, if anyones not to tired from work or doesnt mind hanging out late and havin a drink come out and hang with a GROUP of my buddies.Mostly a bunch of TURBO HEADS. We usually hang out in the sunnyvale/cupertino areas starting around 830ish, i usually get there a little later...
Pizza and Pipes off Lawrence Exp. and Homestead or the occacional BJ's pizza and brewery off DeAnza Blvd and 280. Ever since Starbucks on El Camino and Lawrence Exp. closed down for renovation,we havent hung out there in a while...

There we go! I'll be out there (Pizza and Pipes) a couple Wednesdays from today. I lived a walkable distance from there for about 6 months last year. How do you talk about your cars at BJ's when they valet them? I'm always scared to hand my keys over to those guys. heh

Well guys, the meet is tomorrow, I hope people can make it. I know I'll be picking up 90REkTsi tomorrow and will meet up with dsm408 and his buddy, so at least there are a couple of us that will be there for sure. I asked two of my friends to come, so they might show up too. Freakin' weather!
