so is this still going down? I just moved down to santa clara/ san jose area from up farther north on the penninsula and would like to meet some of the south bay dsmers we could never get a meet going for that area so let's try again.

well techincally I move down there on thursday but I always kick it down there lately at my friends houses and what not.

Sup everyone! I'm kinda new to the forums here but took part of the DSM meet last July out at Stinson beach, I might have met a few of you out there. I would really like to get to know some of the DSMers in the south bay. Been mostly hangin with the Subaru forums crowd for a few weeks now, we kinda hang out at the Starbucks in Sunnyvale off of Lawrence Exp. and El Camino on Wednesday nights. If anybody is down to go hang out or bored on a wed night, just stop by to say hi! Unfortunatley my car is currently without an engine and wont be running for another month, i would totally be down to go to the meet and for sure a cruise!

Hey, what's up guys. Well, I'm back from visiting my parents, and I'm glad more people are voicing their opinions. I'm down to meet at Valley Fair or Santana Row. If everybody is cool with meeting at a place like a parking lot, does that mean people want to cruise? I'm wondering if we hang out somewhere like the mall parking lot, security or somebody will kick us out. I don't know. That's what I'm thinking. I know last time at the meet at Q-Cup, I thought we would actually hang out in the building, but we all hung out at the parking lot. This is cool, I'm getting excited about this meet too. Hopefully the turnout is even better than last time. I'm requesting that day off. So what is the consensus? Valley Fair area? Are we going to cruise? Eat? Hang out? We have about a week to decide.

Oh yeah, let's get a specific time down so everybody knows what's up. The day is still set for Saturday, April 9th, right?

Can't wait!

And I'm still determined to meet everybody and remember your names!

I say meet in the parking lot at the end of sanatana row by the movie theatre they have. I would say meet at vally fair but that mall gets out of control and finding enough parking for all of us on a saturday afternoon will be impossible. Once we all meet up we can then decide if we want to go eat/cruise/hang out whatever. Everything is pretty close to that area so doing something shouldn't be that hard. How about we meet at like say 2pm in the afternoon. Hopefully my car will be ready by then....wel wait my car has to be ready by then let's hope its broken in and tuned by then.

for the people asking about where it is how to get there is are directions. Take 280S untill you get to the winchestor exit. stay in the left lanes of the offramp. Make a left off the offramp. Make a left at the next light, santana row is on the right side right across from the movie theatre. Santana row has its own movie theatre that is where I think we should meet up in that parking lot right on the main street.

take 237 to 85 south, then take 280 south. # exits down is winchester make a left off the offramp, make a left at the next light. and the meet point will be on your right one block down.

I think most peope are comfortable with Saturday, April 9th, 2 p.m., as stated before. And I think the general area to meet is at the end of Santana Row, there is a parking lot for a movie theater over there.

Is everybody okay with this?

I have to remember to bring my camera this time.

I wish I could tell you but you never know. Last time when I set up the karting meet I had like 15 people say they were going but me and one other person showed up and that's it.

Well shit man the winchester exit is like 5 minutes away so it not really i question if i can get there.

My problem is that i thought i would be done taking care of cleaning out a house in vallejo b4 the meet but now it looks like ill be running a bit behind and if im in vallejo on the 9th there is no way i can make it for the meet.

I guess im unconfirmed for now... i gotta check w/ my dad to see if i can take some time off to check you folks out.
