This is sound advice... Get another rod... I personally will never use a rod that spun a bearing again in a High Performance engine... Most people won't re-use a block that crank walked so why re-use a rod that spun a bearing?? Rods are cheaper than a blocks are...TSIfreek said:A rod that has been thew a spun bearing is in my opinoin junk. The rod got so hot and lost considerable strength.
