i bought an safc1 used without the instructions and wanted to know if the safc1 and the safc2 wire up the same

I think he ment that the SAFC1 doesn't have the knock sensor wire.

Sorry, I'm used to my 2G now. 1G's should work with the knock sensor, 2G's have a different unreadable signal.
