My friend Dan just hooked up my SAFC 2 on my 1g and the RPM reading is only half of what it actually is when set on 4 cylinders, we set it to 2 cyclinders and the rpm readings are correct then... did anyone else have this problem and if so how did they fix it? thanx

You fix it by setting the number of cylinders to 2.

Because the DSM system is waste spark, depending on where you hook up the SAFC it can get confused.

why would the waste spark system make the afc read the wrong rpms?

Just wondering. I know it worked ok on my car (2g) and my freinds (1g) no problems. And iv never heard of this before. But if 2cly works for the rpm then do that =D
