Sacramento Tuners Meet - March 28th

We do have meets every month at that same location. Been going on for 6 months now.

Thanks to everyone who showed up. It was great. Lots of tuning help and mod recommendations. Hope to see more meets like this in the future.

Got the knock to go down a little but I'm still having issues. Now it's knocking in second gear. Had one pull where it spiked to 14-15 degs. Wondering how much of this might be phantom knock.

i put in a reman alt. from autozone, and a new battery, after about 150 miles i started getting the low voltage light blinking at me.

it would only happen when i drove for more then 15min,

i took the new alt out and auto zone tested it and it passesd 3 times, but i knew that it would pass, because the alt was cold and the car was fine up untill about 15min.

so i insisted on them replacing it and they finally did.

i have put about 500 miles on this new one and its al good sofar.

remans are hit and miss, some work some dont.

I was thinking the same thing so i guess i'll drive it for this week and see if it doesnt leave me stranded. I told the guy about the reman'd alt's & he was really trippin'. He said " I never heard of that blah blah." So i broke it down to him about the quality of the reman job & that even though it was reman'd it didnt mean it was totally good. Also said this was my 2nd one from there in a year. Also had bench tested the 2 that were on the shelf & one was bad right off the shelf. Hmmm tell me that a reman cant be bad again buddy.
So he said he would swap it out if i kept having an issue. Well i am still having the issue. But it jumps back to 12v after a long time down at 10v & even 9.6v at times. Oh well we'll see what happens.

Looks like it turned out pretty nice. I would have gone but had to visit my parents that day. If you guys plan another one I'll try to make it. Would be cool just to see your cars.
