Running without an MBC and just using the External Wastegate

I want to bypass my MBC as a test. If I were to just run a line straight from the J-pipe to the side port of my Tial EWG, would this be accomplished?

Yes it would work just fine. Boost response will be a slower but it will open up at spring pressure.

No need to make a new thread. Sounds to me like your BOV is failing.

Anyways, viperLP01's confirmation worked perfectly...boost held at exactly 18 psi so I know the EWG is working perfectly. It just sounds completely different after the swap...not nearly as loud.
