Running rich on stock fuel system ???

hey guys

I logged a run using my friends palm. and i noticed that from around 3800-4000rpms to redline my O2's were stuck at .98, and peak timing was 16 deg.

i would post a log, but he didn't have the adapter with him to hook up to the pc.

i was running 15psi on my 14b....with a new denso O2 sensor and no boost leaks.

oops, forget to mention that this is all with pump gas 93 oct.

Factory A/F is 9.5:1 which equals pig rich. Unless you have an AFC, DSMLink, EPROM ECU with a custom A/F or an AFPR to turn down the fuel pressure that's what you'll get. Just keep in mind that tuning by O2 isn't always accurate. Try a wideband instead and you'll get the real deal.

Also 16 degree's is the max the stock ECU will give out so judging by that I'd say your car is perfectly normal.
