well my car would occasionally hesitate and feel like the knock sensor was going and it would feel like it would sputter like it was retarding the timing. this was only after running it hard and it'd go away after a little bit. well yesterday it got worse. as a matter of fact it's running on 3 cylinders. cylinder 4 is getting very little to probly no spark. now, i've got the coil pack and injector resistor and everything from my 90 galant gs-x. but the thing i was wondering is, can you run a n/t 4g63 coil pack in a turbo 4g63?

i asked my good friend phil has a 1g turbo gs the same question. he said that it should work.

this is my problem/ might help

my car has been running off three cylinders as well for a while. we think it is the spark but we take the plug out connect it to the pulg wire put it on a metal surface on the car and see if it is firing ok. if it is its not the plug or the wire. checked the compression compression was good 120 psi. so if the car is getting spark and compression and the fuel injector noid light is comming on/ injector ticking (which is the valve moving back and forth) it should be getting fuel. we switch the injector with a good in jector and that cylinder is working fine now. (take the plug wire off the plug and see if it gets worse.) if it gets worse than that cylinder is working fine. so we change the injector with a cylinder that is working and functioning fine with the bad injector. the problem carys from that cylinder to the next. that injector is bad. now i have to find a injector that is the same size but dont know becasue they were in the car when i bought it.

the injector has a blue top silver base and no manufacturer name. they are a little shorter than the stock 93 gsx injectors. i need to know the CC size?

yeah well it's not either. turns out cylinder four lost all compression. still moves and runs but obviously not that well. now i just gotta decide wether to fix it or just sell the whole car off

just go get a used motor for cheap and use that until you get the original motor fixed. not saying that you have to get your old motor fixed right away. or while its out of the car just build it the way you want it. you can always part it out instead of selling it as a whole. you might even gett more money if you part it out. just a thought.

there is a resistor in the turbo cars and in the n/a cars they dont have one

so no that coil pack from a n/a motor wont work for a turbo car.
