This may seem difficult to believe, but RTM Racing has never had a Black Friday sale.
One of the reasons is that we're a Canadian company and we don't have a Black Friday as such. (As it happens, we have our Thanksgiving (on a Monday) about a month and a half earlier than the States does--presumably due to the cold up here!) Another reason for our reluctance to have a sale is that we operate on fairly thin margins and thus can't really afford to have sales.
In any case, we've decided to break with tradition this year and actually have a Black Friday sale.
Even though our margins still remain thin, most of the product we've chosen to discount are products we manufacture ourselves (and thus have a bit more control over the cost).
We've created a whole category in our webstore called "BLACK FRIDAY SALE" (it appears at the top of our categories list).
In this category, you'll find all our "Black Friday" products.
We anticipate our Black Friday pricing for these products will remain in effect until Nov 30. However, this is strictly a "while supplies last" sale. There will be no "rain check" coupons or the like issued on products that sell out. Also, we have no "Black Friday" discount code or coupons. Only the products in our "Black Friday" category are discounted in price.
This may also be a good opportunity to inform our customers about some of the details about purchasing from RTM Racing. First off, we generally do NOT take orders over the phone. We're unable to process payment information this way, all payments must be processed through the webstore. We also generally do NOT give shipping estimates. The reality is that we have a fairly small staff and most of our time is taken up filling orders, preparing them for shipping, maintaining the webstore, purchasing product, etc, etc. For an estimate on shipping we ask that you create a user profile in our webstore (that includes your ship to address). Then you can add whatever product you wish to purchase to your shopping cart. At some point during the checkout process (but before you are prompted for payment information) you will be presented with a number of shipping options (with the price displayed for each). If you are looking simply for the cost to ship to your address, at that point you can make note of the various shipping prices and simply abandon the checkout process without ever having entered any payment information. Alternatively, if you wish to actually place your order, you can continue to the payment portion of the checkout process and complete your order.
