Rpm Limit

I have looked up here and haven't found what my issue is so here goes. Today i finally finished up putting my car back together. Then comes the issue; at idle runs fine no loping no surges, but when you apply about quarter throttle, rpms starts to surge and at full throttle it hits a wall at 2500 and won't go any higher. Need some help please. The only mod is an Apexi N1 turbo back.

Have you opened up the ecu? Could be fried Capacitors.

I got the ecu apart now beacuse it wasn't getting power on one of the pins but one of the caps looks a little iffy I'll probaly just get it repaired eventually since it an eprom if its possible and just get another ecu and go from there.

a boost leak of any size will make my car not run at all, it bucks and kicks and spits untill it dies, and then at part throttle under 2400 rpm's it'll barely run to limp somewhere, anymore throttle and the car dies.

This sounds pretty identical to your issues.

Welll its not quite like that because it won't die out when I step on the gas. Anything under 2000 rpm will cause the car to jerk violently but it will still go.

Problem solved got a new computer and runs like a champ; just got lifter tap now, I think.
