I took my 1995 Eagle Talon tsi awd to a guy a friend recommended. I needed a brake job and a new clutch. Once I got there he told me I didn't need a clutch but a master cylinder.

In short he did the work, I picked up the car and now the car seems to miss and then cut off. This guy is lost and I know its a DSM thing. Are there any shops in the Dallas area that I can get the car to. Or can I get a charity call from this guy to someone who may know the dsm problem he may have caused.

The engine is rebuilt new turbo. I had new alternator and compressor done with no problems. He gets it and the battery goes and the car cuts off when the clutch is engaged.

Help DSM family!

You brought the car to the shop engine running perfect but needing brakes and clutch/master? Definitely check for a vacuum leak, something probably didnt get connected during install somewhere

Just out of curiousity....did you by chance have him replace the flywheel with a lighter one? after I put in my lighter flywheel, the engine would occasiobally stall when I was shifting. just a thought.
