I have a 95 gst that is mostly stock. Just a few bolt ons such as air intake, headers, bov, fmic. The idle jumps up and down at idle and in first gear bogs, in other gears there’s no bog but power output still feels a little weak. I’ve done a boost leak test and fixed all leaks. I also checked the iac with a multimeter. So if anyone has any suggestions on the issue it would be much appreciated.

Hunting/high idle is caused by too much air bypassing the throttle plate. So things like the ISC, BISS, FIAV, PCV, brake booster, vacuum lines, throttle body gaskets, throttle stop, throttle cable too tight, and probably some other things I'm forgetting are all possible culprits. The ECU controls the ISC and can be a culprit too.

Always good to perform basic tune up too like spark plugs/wires, check ignition timing, check mechanical timing, boost leak test (you said you did this already), clean throttle body, etc. What about the 2g MAF - is that still hooked up? Do you have any way to log the car?
