ok, here is another failure story... i had my 7 bolt rebuilt like 8K miles ago. recently the car developed a mild knock around 3K rmp-s under moderate load. The shop took the bottom apart and oh boy, all the bearings are bad, crank is ruined. looks like there is something very wrong with some 7bolt engines. What makes me angry is the fact that I had the rebuild done right by the book. new crank, new bearings (all selected ones) , new rods, new pistons. Oil pump is fine but it still seems there is a big problem with oiling system of the engine. I would never spend on a 7 bolt again.
