RnR 2.5" Cat Back Review

Got my RnR 2.5" cat back exhaust the other day. Install was kind of a bi$@h. Only reason was because the o2 sensor wouldn’t clear the sound deadening stuff near the cat (oh btw I have a test pipe). I just dug some of the sound deadening out and cleared the o2 sensor. Other than that the piece was pretty nice. Nice welds, hangers all right in place, and the muffler sits in a nice position (however im not much of a fan of the 4" tip...I wish I could have gotten a 3-3.5" tip).

IMO the exhaust was pretty damn loud...but deep, not buzzy at all. My wife could hear me coming from a 2 blocks away. At WOT it sounds pretty badass though. I defiantly got some power out of it because I had to turn the boost down about 2 psi to a safe 15lbs.

The sound got to me (and my wife...its our daily driver) so I took it to a muffler shop and for 70$ and 30min of work they welded in a 2.5" resonator. It really cut the noise and IMO still sounds really good; however, it did rob me of some power...I know because I lost about 1 psi and I had to turn up the MBC back to 15lbs.

OK that’s my review...I won’t get into how long it took to get the exhaust but overall I give it a . My RnR o2 eliminator dp is supposed to be coming soon and I will give a quick review of it when its in.
