I have a 99 GST Spyder FWD. I just purchased a set of RMDSM sway bars front and rear. I hear mixed theories on wether I should install rear only or front and rear. Its front wheel drive so I know that might make a difference. The car is a daily driver and I bought the bars for a little better handling. I hate the understeer and am used to driving rear wheel drive cars. Any suggestions? Should I replace just the rear or both front and rear? Please help!!!

Thanks

J.

Well, given that the rear bar takes ten minutes to install, while the front one can be a complete pain, I'd suggest that you install just the rear and drive around for a few weeks. If the car is too loose, then install the front one, too. If the car is finally less of the under-steering pig that it was stock, then considering leaving it alone and selling the front bar to someone who autocrosses in D/Stock.

You will be careful when trying the car out with only the rear bar replaced, right? Our cars are very hard to catch once the tail goes.
