I finally got my new wheels mounted on the aftermarket rims but the problem is, when I went to put them on my car, I found out that the rim hub (where the lug pattern is) the inside hub lip is a little big. What I mean is: it fits on the car but, it won't slide all the way on like the stock rim because, the aftermarket rim has a little deep lip behinde the lug pattern which hits against the side of the rear brake hub. Sorry, if I'm confusing anybody, I'm kinda confusing myself

You're talking about what is called the OFFSET of the rim.

For your vehicle the offset should be between 35 and 45 inclusively.

Check that. If it is within those numbers than everything is fine. If it is more, take the rims back and have tham replace them with ones with the correct OFFSET.

Hope this clarifies it for ya!

Wait, I think he means the hub for the wheels don't line up with the hub on his car. I think you may need hub centric rings. They can be purchased or wherever u got the rims from should just give you a set for you car. If now i'm sure you can call up like www.wheelmax.com and get a set :dsm:

Yes, just2asian you are correct except the rims will line-up and fit on the 5-lugs to a point until the hub of the rim taps the wheel hub

Are you referring to the center bore, the hole in th every center of the wheel is to small to fit around the hub center (axle nut).

stupid me :beatentodeath: yeah, that's what I mean

since I'm not as tired as yesterday so, I can explain it better: the center bore of the rim is touches the side of the outer rear rotor where the wheel studs are located, like I said, the wheel slides onto the the wheel studs but the rotor stops it???
