Car spits flame due to the computer not senseing that which is now vented and thinks all the air messured at maf is what still in the intake and does not compensate for the bov being vented you run to much gas and go rich thats how you get flames.

I Was Just Wondering Because On My Car With It Vented It Doesnt Shoot Flames But On My Brothers Sti Its Spits Flames Inbetween Shifts. Is This Harmful To The Car? And What Makes His Car Do It And Mine Not?

I Dont Know If This Is Rice Or Not, (i Hate Rice) But I Was Wondering What Could I Do To Get My Car To Do This? Add More Fuel? Im Running 2 1/2" With A Test Pipe And Evo Iii 16g, Walbro 190.

The RFL's design requires you to vent the BOV to the atmosphere. I don't see how you could fit a hose and clamp over the end of the horn. If you wanted to run this BOV safely you could purchase a MAF Translator unit and run it in "bow through" setup.

They make kits so you can spit flames out the tailpipe if you really feel that you have to do this. For offroad use only. I have read that other members cars will spit flames when bouncing off the rev limiter.
