About 6 months ago I bought some indiglo guages and installed them using the install intructions via dsm.org Now I have a problem they turn off while I;m driving for no apparent reason. I'll try to turn them back on but they won't then If I give them a few minutes I can turn them on again, they will then last from 30 seconds to 2 minutes being on then continue to shut off. I've checked the electrical connections and they are all still tight. I've wondered If it's the heat inside the dash seeing as it's winter time and I've got to turn on the heat. but yet it started doing it this past summer too.
Also to note is that after installing the guages my foglamps will turn on but they won't stay on unless I hold the button down. would the fact of my indiglo's being wired into the fog lamp power supply cause them to do this or have I got two problems on my hands?
so I've debated in finding somewhere else to plug my power for my indiglo into?
any advice would be great!
