About 6 months ago I bought some indiglo guages and installed them using the install intructions via dsm.org Now I have a problem they turn off while I;m driving for no apparent reason. I'll try to turn them back on but they won't then If I give them a few minutes I can turn them on again, they will then last from 30 seconds to 2 minutes being on then continue to shut off. I've checked the electrical connections and they are all still tight. I've wondered If it's the heat inside the dash seeing as it's winter time and I've got to turn on the heat. but yet it started doing it this past summer too.
Also to note is that after installing the guages my foglamps will turn on but they won't stay on unless I hold the button down. would the fact of my indiglo's being wired into the fog lamp power supply cause them to do this or have I got two problems on my hands?

so I've debated in finding somewhere else to plug my power for my indiglo into?

any advice would be great!

the Negative is grounded to the screw found behind the guage cluster as suggested on the indiglo installation on dsm.org
The power was vampire clipped into the middle wire on the foglamp's but I took of the vampire clip and soddered it because the vampire clip was loose and wouldn't hold a good connection. I changed thinking it would make a difference and of course it didn't

hey guys I was trying to install my new guages today and I've got a similar question. I want to tap my guage power wire into my parking lights wire, but which wire is it under the steering column?

Back when I converted from Talon tails to Eclipse, I rewired all my harnesses and I know the parking lights have a green with white stripe wire. It should still be the same green/white stripe up front in the dash right? Can anyone give me a hint as to which bundle the parking light wire will be in or what else I may need to find instead?

Thanks!

Edit - I tried a search on dsm.org for indiglow installation to see what they said but the search kept returning an error message.
