I dont know what type of clutch it was it came with the car when i bought it.. but i think that the tranny was missing a bolt... that might have been it....

Well on the clutch disk there are some letters on it that say T-NKK... And on hte other side there are numbers which are 372812... is it just a stock clutch...

yeah it did make a few disturbing sounds... it scared the crap out of me when i heard it...

Too much abusement. That happend to us too. My bro's 90 gst all stock, raced everyday. Comming home from out of town, we were like 1 1/2 hours away from a 4 to 5 hour drive, then it blew. Left us stranded on the side of the road for a couple of hours untill he called his friend and picked us up.

Thats why as soon as I felt weakness in my clutch I upgraded it. A guy told me his clutch exploded in his mustang and shot a spring through the floor not far from his foot. Since we have FWD I doubt they would come through the cabin, but I could definatly see one busting the tranny casing.

Yeah i did abuse it quite a bit but didnt think it would end up that bad... My car is pretty much stock so i thought it would handle more than it did... But it might of been the bolt that was missing that caused it... i dont know... its time to upgrade to a better clutch and maybe a new tranny cause the curent one i have a piece were the slave cylinder is held together fell off... because i wouldnt be able to weld that back... Would i...
