[RESOLVED] repaint the bottom trim silver and a big silver DSM symbol on the hood

Okay heres what we got goin' on..... While I'm working on this Turbo conversion I decided I wanted to paint my car... I wanna do black where All my maroon is and repaint the bottom trim silver and a big silver DSM symbol on the hood but I also want it to look even cooler, my friend brought up the idea of putting silver dsm symbols that look like they were flying around my car like a big one on the hood and little ones shooting off down the sides and all. But that still leaves what I'm wondering, what to do (IF I DO THAT PAINT) what to do to the interior? Maybe some ideas that aren't too pricey but will still look pretty good?

Can't go wrong with all Black/Charcoal... Looks good and easy to keep clean. I'm not a fan of painting interior parts bright colors to try to accent the paintjob. My $.02.

What about some of the small trim like the same color grey as the car?

Please dont........But if you do, black exterior with black interior has always been a favorite to me.

So my suggestions. New Black carpet, black headliner, and maybe some black Sparcos.

Wooohoo 816!!! I'm from East St. Louis over there in Missouri but anyway... Yeah I was just thinking it would look pretty cool to have the DSM symbol on there... What about this ones I see with one over the infamous hump on the hood would one on that be a little drastic?

Got it and by the DSM symbol I meant the Diamond Star thing..
Anyway I have what I need then ... Black it is... Next topic, since I'm going all dark and sinister and stuff should I buy new gunmetal rims or paint the regular ones I have now a dark color? I like the new Lancer rims in the gunmetal color, would those fit?

That is the Mitsubishi logo... not a "DSM symbol." Just so you know. And for the wheels, do what ever you think will look best.
