Personally I just use M10x1.25 80mm grade 8 bolts. I know they aren't recommended but they've worked great for me.

The only important thing is to avoid stainless bolts.

Crappy SS??? Stainless Steel is not crappy. I think you misread his post. He said "stainless"

Now you have me doubting myself slightly but I was under the impression that any stainless product was an issue for exhaust hardware and especially turbo bolts because even though they may hold very well they are generally nearly impossible to remove after a year or so on the car. The warning to use lube on the threads on the product page reinforces (to me) that these bolts would have the same problem.

Either way no matter what bolt you use use anti-seize on everything.

isnt stainless and stainless steel same thing? anyways, yes anti seize is your friend on anything, except clutch and stuff, loctite is friend there. i was considering going to fastenal, there is one up the street a few miles, but havent made it. trying to find my 4th good bolt, want to just get it together and not worry anymore...
