[RESOLVED] Removing head - do spark plugs need to come out?

i am removing the head off of mt 1g and i need to know if i have to take the spark plugs out in order to remove the head ? i have asked around and some people say no you dont and others say you do, can sombody please clarify this for me so i can continue my build ?

barely any extra work if you do take the sparkplugs out and it will be easier to work on your car if they are not attached to the head.

I actually took the head off a 2g, brought it in for decking and totally forgot to take them out. I got the head back complete with still fitted spark plugs.

Is it recommended? Hell yes!

NO, you don't have to. But you will have to if you plan on cleaning the head thoroughly.

nah you don't have to take them out. I just pulled the head and forgot to take them out actually
