when im driving it feels like its loosing power even before getting into boost. Feels like a drag on the car like something is holding it back from moving. I have been getting wack gas mileage too. This doesnt happen all the time but when it happens if i compeletly let off throttle and then give it throttle again it tends to go away sometimes. Also when this happens my CEL flashes on but then goes away once i let off throttle or go past 3000rpm

Heres my mods:

Eprom ecu for dsmlink
MHI 16g
SSAC FMIC
custom 2.5" intercooler piping
Blitz BOV
3" exhaust
Injen intake

I have replaced with new plugs and wires and no change Also ive checked for leaks and there are none

EDIT: Ive noticed my car runs anywhere from 206-210 coolant temp....could this be causing anything? also in cold starts my car barely wants to drive it barely moves even if i give alot of throttle
Opinions needed!!

Check TPS.
Also probly not part of the problem, but check or replace that O2 sensor.
Besides the fact you are now at the level that a wideband O2 Is a definat bonus. Which will greatly narrow down this problem your having.

thanks for the fast reply. Ive noticed when i do a boost leak test i hear a small hiss coming from the bottom of the tps sensor when it reaches about 20psi, and ive searched and could be the throttle body seals

My boost is set at 14psi could this have any effect?

Yup it can and will affect performance. The description you gave, Probly not the culprit. But you never know...
I noticed you said you "Hear" a hiss.. Does this mean you BLT by ear and don't use any soapy water or something similar (I prefer kids Bubble maker stuff)?
Poor MPG can be directly tied into boost leaks (and is usually the problem on Forced induction engines). As your ECU is dumping fuel for Air its already measured, That is now leaking out.

As for the TPS, I meant check it electrically. I have had numerous experiences with old TPS's having a "dead" spot. where it literaly burns the copper contacts inside itself. Cause all manner of problems.

yes ive felt the hiss with the tip of my finger and also sprayed it down.

Also i was doing some searching and i just checked and my TPS is at 0%, shouldnt it be at 10% what difference does this cause?

Check that TPS with Digital Volt meter, aka Multi tester. It will have a set Ohm load closed and full open. You want to watch the readings for spikes or drops in the Ohm load while Slowly opening and closing the the tps (open and close it a few times to get accurate results, Consult your manual for the TPS ohm readings)..
This will show you dead spots, If you have any. Dead spots will cause fluctuations in how the ECU "see's" the throttle blade opening.
Dead spots makes it think, the Blade suddenly shut. A spike makes it think the blade just went wide open.

my tps is fine, could it be my fuel pump starting to go? or fuel pressure regualtor?

fixed my own problem......i was running coolant temps of 206-210 and the ecu starts pulling timing at 206

I changed my thermostat to a 180 and bleeded my system and now i have temps of 192-195 driving and no more problems!!!!!

Thanks for your help
