i searched and looked and I know it says to remove the dash is easier but is there a less complicated way.. Im trying to put me engine back into my gst and really wanna capitalize on my time off next week.

Sorry your going to have to remove the dash. To get your heater core out you need to take the heater out via bolts placed under the dash.

ok ill jus pull a all day job tomorrow and try and get it done quick

Removeing the dash really isnt that hard. My first time i remove mine to remove the heatercore it took me about 3 hours to get it out. Once you take the heatcore stuff out you will have ALOT more room under the dash! I have alot of pics of it all on my webpage linked below. Just look at the pics on my page.

Where is your link with pics of the heater core removal? I also have a 1998 GST and this would help a lot in planning my attack.
