[RESOLVED] Fast response please ?!? Engine Dowels

Smoked a dowel pin between the block and head when removing head for resurface. What is a good way to get the block side of the dowel out? Killed 2 screw drivers so far... =P

Try grabbing it with pliers or a set of locking pliers (Vise-Grips).

Nope... Snapped below the block surface...

get a drill and use a magnet to get the fragments out.

done the above, but used an easy-out to extract that stub?

I just snapped it with a chisel and hammer and took out the peices.
