Alright, I know that it can be done, but the problem is that I have no idea how to make it work. I got my first Mac a couple months ago, and to be honest have no idea what I'm doing with the damn thing. :p

I'm very good with PC's, but this thing boggles my mind.

I saw a "How to" in the Wiki, but it looks like that's for v2 and not v3. There is a Mac OSX DSMLink download, but what do I do with the file once it's downloaded? There is another download for drivers, but do I need that, and what do I do with it once it's downloaded?

I have the serial to USB adapter you can buy from the guys at DSMLink, which I believe is a Keyspan. Thanks guys / gals.

You just download it to a directory somewhere and then open it up like a folder. Inside there will be the installer. At least that's how I recall it working back several months ago (the last time I had access to a Mac for testing). It should install the application along with a launcher icon on the desktop.

Only if you're using our V3 cable. If you're using the Keyspan USB to DB9 adapter, you'll need to locate those drivers for Mac off the Keyspan site. At least that's what I assume to be the case. I've never actually installed the Keyspan drivers on a Mac before.

It worked just as Tom described. Download the v3 Mac file from ECMLink's website and double click to install. Then download and install the driver from KeySpan's website to install the serial to USB adapter. Then it was a matter of telling ECMLink to use the KeySpan port created during the installation.
